About Me

As a little girl, I remember watching my mom decorate the most amazing cakes.  To this day, I have not seen a buttercream rose as perfect as the ones she would make.  I have always enjoyed cooking and baking, but it was not until my daughter was born that I decided to take cake decorating classes.  Until then, I had made many of what I call "paint-by-number" cakes and layered cakes but I had never truly made a real decorated cake.

My cakes are made from scratch, including the fondant and buttercream, so they are fresh and never frozen.  I use real butter in both the cakes and the frosting.  If you have only had grocery store cakes, you don't know what you are missing!  :)
